The California Art Club will be hosting its
109th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition in a new and exciting way. We welcome you to be a part of this historic event!

Because the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University is indefinitely closed, we have devised an innovative solution for presenting our signature event. CAC, in collaboration with the Hilbert Museum, will produce a virtual exhibition accompanied by an expansive slate of online programs.

From May 16 through June 13, 2020, the 109th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition – A Virtual Experience will spotlight more than 160 works of art on a newly developed web page with high-visibility social media promotions to engage a broader audience.

In the true spirit of our Gold Medal Exhibition, in addition to publishing the anticipated print catalogue, we will be celebrating each work of art throughout this special online showcase by providing a myriad of engaging online events and promotional opportunities. These will include:
Talks given by the experts highlighting their picks of the exhibition
Personal insights from exhibiting artists about their own works
An “Ask the Artist” forum
And much more!

As always, all artworks will be available for acquisition and will support the artists and the California Art Club’s educational programs.
