Cape Ann Plein Air 2019

For nearly two centuries, Cape Ann Massachusetts has been a destination for some of the finest painters who paint en plein air. Throughout its four picturesque seaside communities, Cape Ann Plein Air, a nationally recognized arts organization, will host its fourth annual week-long plein air painting competition in October 2019. This is when the famous Cape Ann light shines at its very best! CAPA will bring 40 of the finest artists in the nation to compete for over $20,000 in prizes and awards while raising awareness of all that painting en plein air is today.  Collectors! Many paintings will be available for sale during the full duration of the competition and festival. Selected works will be shown and available for sale during the Gala and Awards Presentation on October 12th.
