The Long Point Regatta is a favorite of the local yacht clubs. This painting features the racing sailboats running with the wind with colorful spinnakers flying! This is right offshore of “Long Point” Catalina Island. Lots of pageantry and use of palette knife for wonderful texture in the sparkling water.
